Meet The Team

Hamilton E. Hunt, Jr.

Principal

Hamilton E. Hunt has been involved in real estate sales, acquisitions, leasing, management and development for retail, industrial, office and institutional clients since 1983. Prior to the founding of Hunt Real Estate, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Peter Lawrence Development Company (“PLC”), a multi-state property owner and developer of commercial industrial and office properties. Prior to PLC, he was a recognized leader in Industrial Sales and Leasing Broker for a national brokerage firm.

Hamilton E. Hunt III, has been actively involved in construction, real estate, and restoration for
over a decade. Prior to joining Hunt Real Estate, Hamilton spent several years working on
hurricane restoration projects in Texas and Florida as a construction consultant and emergency
services specialist. Hamilton started his career in 2007 interning in Moscow, Russia at Cushman & Wakefield, Stiles & Riabokobylko’s capital markets and office/retail departments. As Principal for Hunt Real Estate, Hamilton is involved in all aspects specializing in acquisitions, client relations, construction, development, property management, and sales.

Scott Meckley

Chief Financial Officer

Scott Meckley joined Hunt Real Estate in March 2006, bringing more than 20 years of
diversified financial, accounting and taxation experience to the firm. From 1995 to 2005 he
served as Chief Financial Officer in entrepreneurial growth environments helping develop, fund
and execute corporate strategy. Prior to 1995 he held a variety of operational and financial
management roles after starting his career with a Big Eight accounting firm. Mr. Meckley
oversees the Company’s financial operations, information technology and human resources
functions. Additionally he has primary responsibility for lender relationships and coordination
of all closings and sales of Company’s development projects. He is a member of the American
Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs.

Kevin T. McCraw

Director of Acquisitions

Kevin T. McCraw has been actively involved in real estate sales, acquisitions, leasing and
development for retail clients since 2004. Prior to joining Hunt Real Estate, Kevin had several
different positions in multi-state areas as a partner and developer for retail tenants that include
numerous single tenant and grocery anchored properties. As the Director of Acquisitions with the Hunt Real Estate team, Kevin is responsible for the Florida region developments and acquisitions. Kevin is an active member of the InternationalCouncil of Shopping Centers (ICSC), as well as other professional organizations.

Brooks P. Byrd

VP Development

Brooks P. Byrd has over 20 years of experience in land acquisition, development, financing, and construction management. With his comprehensive industry knowledge, Brooks is responsible for a diverse portfolio of sophisticated retails clients throughout Florida and Louisiana. Prior to joining Hunt Real Estate in 2012, Brooks was a Principle with Byrd Corp. At Byrd Corp.Brooks oversaw the completion of over 250 residential units and projects including condominium towers, townhomes and marinas. Brooks has a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Florida State University.

J. Dillon Tidwell

Regional Partner

Dillon Tidwell has been involved in retail leasing, sales and commercial development since 1999. Prior to joining Hunt Real Estate he served as a commercial real estate agent with the Phoenix office of Colliers International. His prior business experience include the founding and ownership of a regional refuse collection company, as well as an employee of Deloitte & Touche, LLC, a worldwide public accounting firm. As regional partner with the Hunt Real Estate team, Dillon is responsible for the regions developments, acquisitions and project management. Dillon is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), as well as other professional organizations.

Mike Iversen

Asset Manager

Mike oversees management and leasing of both portfolio properties and third-party properties including Class A retail, restaurant, office condominium projects and light industrial mixed-use properties. Mike has over 16 years’ experience in leasing and property management and holds a Florida Real Estate Associate’s license. Prior to working in the real estate industry, Mike worked 10 years in the consumer financial services industry in a variety of sales, training and management positions. Mike is a Navy veteran having served 4 years of active duty while forward deployed with Carrier Air Wing 7.
